The WorkLife 50 list for 2023 features 50 different leading companies across multiple industries, including SiriusXM, Sephora, Audible and Critical Mass. The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in the Nation® recognizes companies that deliver exceptional human resources practices and commitment to employees.

Companies were assessed by an independent research firm that reviewed several key measures relative to other nationally recognized winners. Detailed information was collected from anonymous surveys submitted by each company’s employees, covering areas related to benefits, education and development, work-life balance, engagement and retention, employee solutions, diversity, equity and inclusion and other initiatives. Fusion92 has earned the national honor following a significant period of growth for the firm, acquiring three companies over the past 16 months, which resulted in an expansion of its end-to-end products and solutions and the welcoming of additional team members to fuel award-winning work.

The Crain’s Cool Places to Work in Michigan program was created by Crain's Detroit Business and Best Companies Group. The program is designed to recognize outstanding places of employment in Michigan. Since 2004, Best Companies Group has specialized in identifying and recognizing great employers to work for. They are an independent research firm that ranks companies based on an established research methodology.

Their surveys provide actionable, hard-to-obtain data that companies use to improve employee recruitment and retention.
