Fusion92 Welcomes New Hires Herron and Zhang

Chicago, June 24, 2019 – Chicago-based Fusion92 today announced the addition of Account Director Mike Herron and Senior Designer/UX Jany Zhang.

As an account director, Herron will be charged with guiding strategy and innovation across a variety of clients, including H&R Block, Zurich and Trupanion. Herron will report to Senior Vice President of Client Services Mark Skroch and Senior Vice President of Media and Activation Services Meghan McCarthy.

Prior to Fusion92, Herron was head of marketing at MCS Communications Consulting Company, senior manager of social media and digital acquisition at U.S. Cellular, manager of social media and online engagement at Solo Cup Company, and marketing manager at Benchmark Hospitality Management. Herron started his career in sports marketing, where he served as regional director of sales and marketing at Kemper Sports, director of marketing and business development at Excel Golf Products, and ecommerce manager at Tour Edge Golf Manufacturing. Herron earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at Waubonsee College.

Jany Zhang joins Fusion92 as senior designer/UX, where she will leverage her formidable print, digital, UX and data visualization skills as a member of the agency’s design and development teams. Prior to Fusion92, Zhang was a senior strategic designer at Guerrero, art and production director at the Mandarin Communications Group, visiting artist at the IIT Institute of Design, graduate teaching assistant at the Art Institute of Chicago and visual communications designer at Urban China. Zhang earned her bachelor’s degree in English and Literature at Tongji University. Following that, she earned her master’s degree in Visual Communication Design at School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
