Fusion92 Announces Wave of Leadership Promotions and New Hires

CHICAGO, April 10, 2024 — Full-service, end-to-end Marketing Transformation Partner Fusion92 celebrates its leaders by announcing two recent executive hires along with six promotions across its Strategy, Product & Innovation, Activation, Client Services, Creative and Marketing Communications teams. Sue LaRue, a longtime consultant, was officially hired as EVP, Strategy, Scott Potter was hired as SVP, Product and Johanna Berger has been promoted to EVP, Activation within the firm’s marketing services leadership team. On the Client Services team, Rebecca Nuno has been promoted to SVP, Account Management, and Barb McDonald and Monica Jakubiak to VP, Account Director. On the Creative team, Alexis Bernbaum has been promoted to VP, Group Creative Director. On the Marketing Communications team, Rachel Hancock has been promoted to VP, Marketing & Communications.

After serving as a consultant with Fusion92 for 13 years, LaRue has officially joined Fusion92’s Marketing Services team as EVP, Strategy. In partnership with Emilie Hamer, SVP, Brand Strategy and Joe Minnella, SVP, Integrated Communications Strategy, LaRue will lead the integrated strategy function, ensuring the delivery of smart, strategic thinking throughout client initiatives, including research, brand planning, media and measurement strategy. LaRue will continue championing bespoke research initiatives and consulting engagements across industries, serving as a trusted authority among Fusion92’s client partners looking for real-world business results.

Potter joined the firm’s leadership team in Q1, bringing a dynamic focus to product operations, particularly with the launch of Fusion92’s powerhouse enterprise solution, Core CMS. Collaborating closely with Jacob Beckley, EVP, Product & Innovation, and the firm’s innovative product team, Potter has stepped in to drive the product vision while successfully navigating complex strategic partnerships with major Fortune 100 brands. His blend of technical expertise, team leadership and dedication to elevating the firm’s product-focused initiatives perfectly aligns with the business goals of Fusion92 and its partners.

A nine-year veteran of Fusion92, Berger develops and evolves the firm’s activation offering. She is responsible for the management and execution of client investments across all media channels, creating processes and workflows for the enterprise and guiding an unrivaled, audience-led offering. She leads the ongoing development of proprietary technology that harnesses the power of AI to fuel greater efficiencies for the firm and higher ROI for brands. As EVP, Activation, Berger will continue to lead Fusion92’s media operations, search engine management (SEM), social, programmatic, ad operations, traffic and linear media teams.

The firm has also promoted three female leaders on the Client Services team. Playing instrumental roles in driving growth for Fusion92’s largest multi year health vertical client, Nuno has been promoted to SVP, Account Management, and McDonald’s multiyear successful leadership on valued client relationships for Fiserv, Buddig and Old Wisconsin has led to her promotion to VP, Account Director. Additionally, Jakubiak has been promoted to VP, Account Director for her tremendous work on Heartland Dental and Heinen’s. Bernbaum’s success in leading award-winning creative copy strategies and content has led to her promotion to VP, Group Creative Director on the creative team. Bernbaum works with clients including ADM, Heartland Dental, Fiserv and Heinen’s. Leading the firm’s marcom team, in recognition of her demonstrated leadership in marketing positioning, communications programming and strategic alignment across the firm’s broad stakeholders, Hancock has been promoted to VP, Marketing & Communications.
